With a special engraving on the case floor as well as an individual test certificate for each of the new watches, Glashütte Original gives the customer a quality promise. Stability - Reliability without compromise

For the caliber 36, therefore, the number of components was deliberately reduced and potentially usable parts, such as the ratchet pawl in the elevator system, were dispensed with. The optimized traction system also ensures an extraordinary run, and thanks to the double-sided automatic lift, the watch is continuously in the optimum lift state when carrying it.

The new caliber offers a gear reserve of more than 100 hours at Glashütte Original, at a frequency of 4 hertz (28,800 half-vibrations per hour). The exceptionally high autonomy is achieved with only one spring house - a real rarity. Finally, both the extreme gait and the high frequency require maximum energy.

This is made possible by the newly designed spring house which was specially developed for this purpose. By means of an enlarged diameter and a reduced spring core, the spring could be extended to 680 mm and its number of turns significantly increased.
For this purpose, a new material is used with Elinflex by Nivarox, which prevents breaking of the tension spring even with narrow windings.
