Endlich eine klare Designwahl

OK, vielleicht nicht endlich, und ich bin mir sicher, dass Project O1 , eine neue Uhr, die auf Indiegogo auftauchte, nicht die erste Uhr mit einem klaren Fall ist (Cue the Swatch Fans), aber es ist immer noch ziemlich einzigartig. Und irgendwie cool. Es dauert das Konzept der Skeletonisierung einer automatischen Uhr auf die nächste Ebene.

Ich folge nicht Indiegogo, wie ich Kickstarter folge, also kam mir dies eine Aufmerksamkeit durch eine E-Mail von den Schöpfern. Und mit Indiegogo gibt es lockere Regeln auf der Bühne der Entwicklung vor dem Start eines Projektes, so bin ich nicht sicher, ob die Bilder hier Renderings oder Fotos sind. Ich sehe, dass sie ein ziemlich ehrgeiziges Finanzierungsziel haben. Wie für jede Menge finanzierte Projekt (und ich habe mehrere unterstützt), bitte ein bisschen Forschung und verstehen die Risiken, bevor Sie versprechen.

Aber wenn Sie sich für dieses Projekt versprechen, und sie sind erfolgreich, dann werden Sie eine interessante und einzigartige Uhr im Gegenzug bekommen, was ich in der Regel nicht mit mitgeld geförderten Projekten sehen werde. Es gibt keinen Kristall an sich, die ganze Uhr ist in Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA) umhüllt, oder für Sie nicht chemische Ingenieure da draußen, Kunststoff.

Der Fall, die Lünette und der Kristall sind alle ein Stück PMMA, das mit einem Gehäuseboden von PMMA verbunden ist, das das Miyota 8N24-E21 Skelett Automatikwerk und ein PMMA Kapitel Ring, entweder in grün, schwarz oder, Sie vermutete es klar. Die Stunden- und Minutenzeiger sind geblendet, aber in den Bildern sehen sie mir ein wenig lila aus und verleihen der Idee, dass dies ein Rendering ist.

Stability - Reliability without compromise
The maximum stability of their time knives - both in terms of accuracy and durability of the construction - is one of the leitmotives of the brand Glashütte Original. For the caliber 36, therefore, the number of components was deliberately reduced and potentially usable parts, such as the ratchet pawl in the elevator system, were dispensed with. The double-sided reduction gear unit takes over the task.

The bayonet suspension, which fixes the unit in the housing, provides for more hand-held stability. This makes the overall construction extremely shock-resistant and at the same time offers maximum service and assembly-friendliness.

Precision - Accuracy in all
situations The caliber of the caliber is achieved, among other things, with the help of an innovative silicon spiral, which is used for the first time at Glashütte Original. Thanks to the high-tech material, the wafer-thin spiral is not only insensitive to magnetic fields and temperature fluctuations, but also vibrates extremely isochronously.

It perfectly complements the backless vibration system, where the gear shifting is performed with weight screws directly on the unrest.

The optimized traction system also ensures an extraordinary run, and thanks to the double-sided automatic lift, the watch is continuously in the optimum lift state when carrying it.

Running time: at least 100 hours
The new caliber offers a gear reserve of more than 100 hours at Glashütte Original, at a frequency of 4 hertz (28,800 half-vibrations per hour). The exceptionally high autonomy is achieved with only one spring house - a real rarity. Finally, both the extreme gait and the high frequency require maximum energy.

This is made possible by the newly designed spring house which was specially developed for this purpose. By means of an enlarged diameter and a reduced spring core, the spring could be extended to 680 mm and its number of turns significantly increased.

For this purpose, a new material is used with Elinflex by Nivarox, which prevents breaking of the tension spring even with narrow windings.
